Compared to our peninsular counterpart the scene here is relatively small and young in terms of the culture and knowledge but its been growing steadily for the past few years. From only 2 crews reppin' hard a few years back, it has grown to 7 crews all together at the moment.
From just high school kids just messing around, it has become the biggest 1 vs 1 bboy battle competition in this small city of ours. 16 bboys has competed but only one will be crowned as the 'King of Boyination' and the bragging rights as the best bboy in Kuching City. It's like our own version of 'Redbull BC One'.
Organized and judged by one of its finest crew, Soul Higher Crew, we aim to spark the growth and spread the knowledge and culture of real bboying.
This was the first battle of the day.
